Short

Shard Cycle is an incremental prospecting game: destroy crystals, upgrade your drill, and collect attachment and ability items as you dig through layer after layer.

Medium

Shard Cycle is an incremental prospecting game where the goal is to beat every layer by destroying the crystals it demands. Spend the currency you prospect to upgrade your drill's power, frequency, and radius, and equip the attachment and ability items that drop along the way to push deeper.

Long

Shard Cycle is an incremental prospecting game. Beat layer after layer by destroying the crystals each one demands, then spend your prospected currency to make your drill more effective — more power, higher frequency, wider radius. Every layer can drop attachment and ability items that improve your prospecting stats when equipped. Earn passive buffs through trading goods bought from a traveling merchant, and chase temporary modifications found mid-session. Beat as many layers as you can and rack up the achievements along the way.
